Founded in 1906, the Elsinore Woman’s Club is a volunteer-powered community of women who turn service into real, local impact in Lake Elsinore and the surrounding valley. We gather to do good, grow together, and preserve a beautiful historic clubhouse that serves as a hub for civic life and celebration. Our members champion scholarships for local students, support domestic violence prevention and survivor resources, and lead projects in arts, education, environment, health, and civic engagement. We are a welcoming, multigenerational group that values friendship as much as service. Whether you can give an hour or take on a larger role, your efforts make a difference here at home.

Who we are

We strengthen our community through hands-on projects, fundraising, and partnerships that support children and families, advance education and the arts, promote wellness, and care for our environment. You will see this in scholarships for local students, classroom and library support, art and music showcases, and mentorship. We rally donations for shelters and resource centers, host blood drives, and offer practical health and safety education. We steward our city with park cleanups, tree plantings, and recycling initiatives. Most of all, we connect neighbors with the help they need and invite new volunteers to turn compassion into action.

our purpose

proudly federated

We are part of the California Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. That connection links us with approximately 60,000 members in clubs across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and clubs abroad, creating a powerful network for service and friendship.

Our shared focus areas include Arts and Culture, Civic Engagement and Outreach, Education and Libraries, Environment, and Health and Wellness. GFWC also prioritizes Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention, and the Juniors’ Special Program advocates for children. Members also have access to leadership development and enrichment opportunities, including LEADS training and the ESO reading program, which support lifelong learning and stronger club leadership. Click here to learn more about the CFWC De Anza District.

Here in California, we serve under the motto “Strength United is Stronger,” and we participate through the CFWC De Anza District in Area D. The De Anza District currently includes 13 women’s clubs that collaborate on leadership training, community projects, and membership growth.
